Bev on Norm

Ongoing Training

salehorse Jewel at Show

Heather is pleased to fine tune horses under saddle or on the ground to create safe, willing and relaxed equine partners for life. Her background is primarily dressage, pleasure and ground training. She uses her experience to teach horses to respond to lighter and lighter cues, regardless of their discipline.

She will assess and work with horses that exhibit problems such as aggressive or timid behavior, biting, bucking, rearing, bolting and head tossing. However, she recommends that owners have their horse checked out by a vet to ensure the problem is not physical before they try training as an option.

Testimonials

Norm was barely halter trained and thought that having his feet cared for was just nonsense. He was a mouthy, ill mannered teenager who needed professional help. He now leads, lunges and is nicely rideable. I only have to point to his flank and he moves over for me.
