Testimonials

My daughter, Norah, starting taking lessons with Heather about 2 years ago (when she was just 4 1/2) and she simply loves it. Heather is a patient, knowledgeable trainer and teaches with respect and gentle guidance. This has been our first real experience with horses and in the beginning it was a little intimidating (for me especially). Heather instinctively knows how to make you feel comfortable and at ease. Now I also take lessons and it is wonderful, therapeutic I would say. It is the perfect ending to a busy week. My daughter and I thoroughly look forward to our weekly lessons. Thank-you Heather!!!!!!

Once my riding skills were under control Heather began helping me with my very out of control mare. When I first got Blondie she refused to stand still for mounting. She was a head tosser and a rooter; she knew every trick for pulling the reins out of my hands. After a few riding lessons Blondie responded to my cues to drop her head. She stands to be mounted. I've learned to do small exercises with Blondie to make her more flexible and balanced. Thanks to Heather, Blondie has slowed down some and I'm okay with going a bit faster.
